A monthly group where children ages 6 to 12 play games together, participate in a grief-related story time, and make crafts to commemorate their loved one, all while getting to know other children who can relate to their experiences of loss and grief.

The cost is $10 per child, with a maximum of $20 per family. Breakfast is provided.

This group will be meeting in person on the John & Cathy Belcher Campus in Pasadena and will be following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Anne Arundel County. Masks are required, and participation is limited so that the proper physical distancing can take place. The center’s services are perhaps needed now more than ever in its history, as individuals and the community grapple with grief in physical isolation due to the COVID-19 health emergency.
