Six-Week Grief Support Group is a facilitated six-week support group offering an opportunity to explore grief themes and coping strategies with others in a safe and supportive environment. The group will meet from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursdays, Sept. 17 to Oct. 22. Registration must be completed by Sept. 10 to participate.

This group will be meeting in person on the John & Cathy Belcher Campus in Pasadena and will be following the guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Anne Arundel County. Face masks are required, and there is a maximum of 6 participants allowed so that the proper physical distancing can take place. The center’s services are perhaps needed now more than ever in its history, as individuals and the community grapple with grief in physical isolation due to the COVID-19 health emergency.

Childcare is not provided, and children are not permitted in any of these groups. Registration is required for all groups and can be completed by calling 888-501-7077 or by emailing griefinfo@chesapeakelifecenter.org.
