Young men and women experience a time of transition that includes many endings and beginnings. When they lose a loved one, it can be difficult to find other young adults experiencing similar losses. They often will reach out through social media. Still, there is a disconnect when conversing online.
To help young adults ages 18 to 24 make that connection, Chesapeake Life Center will host “Gone Too Soon” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 11, at the Starbucks at 503 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park. Co-facilitated by CLC Bereavement Counselor Joy McCrady, this “unhappy hour” will be a time to sip coffee, nosh on snacks and connect with other young adults who are grieving, whether the loss is recent or long passed.
