Families of our patients often choose to give memorial gifts to honor their loved ones. A gift in memory of a loved one is a special way to support Hospice of the Chesapeake. Gifts in honor of someone living, particularly around important dates like birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays, are a wonderful way to let someone know you are thinking about them.

Donate

Many families wish to designate gifts directly to Hospice of the Chesapeake after the death of a loved one. You can request gifts in lieu of flowers in an obituary by including the following: “The family requests that memorial donations and donations in lieu of flowers be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake Foundation, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122 (please note the name of the loved one on the memo line) or online at https://www.hospicechesapeake.org/giving/donate-now/.”

Gifts of Gratitude allow families to recognize the outstanding care provided by our staff. Families can make a donation as a thank you to a special care team member who made an impact and provided memorable care. Every caregiver or staff member is notified when a donation is made in his or her honor.

Commemorative bricks are an enduring, visible way to honor and memorialize loved ones and to support Hospice of the Chesapeake. Bricks, placed on our campus, may be purchased at any time with a $1,000 donation. You can remember a loved one, honor a hospice care team member, or send an uplifting message of hope.
