We are excited to offer a wonderful opportunity to become certified in reiki I at the Burnett Center for Hope & Healing by reiki master Beckie Ridgell and assistant Megan Grogard. This class costs $50 for Hospice of the Chesapeake registered volunteers and $250 for all others. It will be held Saturday Feb. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Once you sign up, we will send volunteers a memorandum of understanding that by completing this course, Hospice of the Chesapeake will cover the $200 portion and the volunteer will give back 10 hours of reiki in the year of being certified.
