The newly opened and renamed Burnett Center for Hope & Healing is located on Sixes Road in Prince Frederick. Our mission is to provide hope and healing for the community with a redesigned space which will now serve many community members who are at different points in living with illness and loss.
The Center will be a place for the community to gather, learn, share, receive support, and engage in healing practices for the entire family including:
- Yoga
- Therapeutic art
- Music classes
- Gardening
- Reiki
- Massage
- Disease-specific support groups
- Grief support programs
- Special programs for children
The Center is warm, welcoming, and open to the needs of our expanding population who are not only experiencing end of life but more often living with progressive, complex serious illnesses over a period of years.
We will offer uniquely designed programs to support patients and families throughout their journey starting at the time of diagnosis and through their grief journey.
