Hospice of the Chesapeake staff, volunteers and sponsors are in the final stages of preparing for the nonprofit’s 16th annual golf tournament that will take place Thursday, Oct. 4, at the Queenstown Harbor Golf Links.
Foursomes enjoy a full breakfast, range time, greens fees, cart, a grill lunch on the course, gifts, an awards banquet and other perks still in the works.
This year’s presenting sponsors to date are All Green Management, Inc., and First National Bank. Other sponsors include Carpet & Wood Floor Liquidators; Greenberg Gibbons Commercial; Tech USA; DataLink Interactive; The Wilburn Company; Charter Financial Advisors, Elizabeth A. Liechty; Sandy Spring Bank; and Whitehall Management.
More than 200 golfers participated in last year’s event, raising $138,000 for the nonprofit that serves Anne Arundel and Prince George’s counties.
